He liked to talk about eating JJ beef and stealing JJ calves. He said there was 12 years that no light shown in his house, afraid someone outside might take a pot shot at night. In his late years lived on a ranch 20 miles west of Kenton, Oklahoma. Buried in Kenton Cemetery.

John Survant --Never heard much about him, believed to be deceased.

Gid Millet [T Heart] was the owner of the [T Heart] brand and ranch on west Carrizo. He lived in Las Animas at one time. Now deceased.

John Irwin- -Billie Wilson said this was not John Irwin, his name was Perry Dorman, nicknamed Smith Canyon. He worked for DD at this time. Was living a few years ago.

J.J. Smithey [JJ] worked for JJ left after this picture was taken not heard from since.

Myers [JJ] no one seems to know much about this man. He left the country he worked for the JJ while here.

Joe Bush [JJ] worked for Prairie Cattle Co around 40 years. He was a little dried up Mexican and good cowboy with a lot of friends. Proved up a homestead on Cacuwas west of Kim, Colo. Lived there for several years. The JJ used his camp as a line camp. He used to say "Me work for JJ 40 years and never misssed a month's pay." He Is buried by the side of Bill Thompson in Higbee Cemetery.

Bill Woods [OU] worked for OW was an uncle to Dewey Carson a relative of the Kit Carson family.

Filey Goodpasture-- worked for box and half Malloy’s crown at Las Animas. He was a first cousin of Bill Woods, died in Montana, years ago.
