Baca County Court House - Between 1907 & 1914
People stand outside the courthouse, Springfield, Baca County, (formerly Las Animas County) Colorado. The one-story frame building has a corner entrance with a gable apex dated: "1907;" lettering on side reads: "Baca County Abstract Co. Real Estate & Insurance."The second Courthouse in Springfield, which was also burned, but the vault was stronger than the first and stood for quite some time with the records until court house #3 was constructed.
