| Amos Brandenburg was born August 27, 1833 in Harrison County Indiana. He is the son of Philip and Lydia Charley Brandenburg, natives of Kentucky. This is a picture of Amos and Emma (Eskew). Sitting on their laps are my father Art Brandenburg and his sister Bertie . The two girls standing in the back are from left to right: Florence Edith Brandenburg and Minnie Brandenburg (child of Charles Brandenburg -- oldest son of Amos. This log house was located on a farm near Ashgrove Mo. Art, Bertie and Harry were born in this house. They lived here for 8 years and then moved to Buchanan, TX. |
